Anchored by a lantern-lit subterranean swimming pool sheltered under the roof of a 250-year-old reconstructed Japanese timber farmhouse, the spa provides a deeply tranquil escape from New York City. Shibui offers traditional Japanese healing arts, including restorative Shiatsu, warm sake and mineral soaks in handcrafted wooden tubs, cleansing herbal scrubs, and organic skincare treatments using pure botanical ingredients and traditional craftsmanship.
