1. What this notice covers
This notice explains cookies and similar technologies used on the Massage Nexus website. Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage keeps browser-side settings until you remove them. Scripts and similar technologies can send page or interaction information to a service even when no traditional cookie is involved.
The Privacy Policy explains the related personal-information processing, recipients, retention criteria and rights. Questions can be sent to admin@massagenexus.com.
2. Necessary storage and preferences
Necessary storage supports the features you request, including sign-in sessions, protection against forged requests, account security and remembered sign-in when you choose it. Session and security values are used for their respective functions, not as permission for advertising. Their names and expiry can depend on the feature and current settings; logging out, expiry or clearing browser data can remove or invalidate them.
Browser-side preferences may remember choices such as your interface theme. Local storage does not have the same automatic expiry rule as a cookie and normally remains until you remove site data or the setting is changed. Account preferences saved on the service can remain after local storage is cleared.
The first-party massage_nexus_consent cookie records whether you allowed optional analytics and when you chose. It normally expires after 180 days, unless you remove it earlier or make a new choice. It allows the site to honor your selection rather than asking on every page.
3. Optional analytics and your choice
When the cookie banner appears, you can reject non-essential technologies, allow the available optional analytics, or manage preferences and save your choice. Necessary storage remains separate. Refusing optional analytics does not by itself prevent browsing, constitute refusal of the Terms, or give consent to another purpose.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are loaded on eligible pages only after you allow analytics. The external analytics scripts are excluded from workspace, sign-in, registration, password, email-verification and support routes. Our current configuration denies advertising storage and advertising-personalization signals. We do not currently operate an AdSense advertising integration.
Our own consented engagement measurements can include a pseudonymous session/viewer identifier, device or broad country information, interaction type and reading duration. When you are signed in, some records may be linked to your account. A hashed identifier does not necessarily make information anonymous. Aggregate page-view counts can be maintained separately without an individual consented engagement record.
4. Analytics technologies and providers
Google Analytics
Google Analytics uses browser and page information to measure use and performance. Its documented first-party cookies include _ga to distinguish browsers and _ga_<container-id> to maintain session state. Google documents a two-year default expiry for these cookies; property settings and browser limits can change their actual lifetime. That default is not a guarantee that every cookie on this site lasts two years.
Our implementation omits URL query parameters from the page address supplied to Google Analytics and disables Google advertising signals and personalization options. This does not make all analytics information anonymous. See Google's cookie documentation and how Google uses information from partner sites.
Microsoft Clarity
Clarity provides browsing metrics, heatmaps and session replay, including interactions such as clicks, pointer movement and scrolling. Its documented first-party cookies include _clck, which associates a browser with a Clarity identifier and preferences, and _clsk, which groups page views into a session recording.
Microsoft also documents third-party cookies such as CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM for identification or cross-domain coordination. Their presence depends on the provider's behavior, consent signals and browser restrictions; not every cookie is set in every visit. Our Clarity initialization permits analytics storage and denies advertising storage. Provider documentation, not that setting alone, explains Microsoft's wider practices. 5. Maps, external services and technical records
Opening a map or following an external link can make a direct request to another provider, such as Google Maps or OpenStreetMap. That provider can receive your IP address, browser information and requested map area, and may apply its own storage and privacy rules. Not every such request is an optional analytics script controlled by our banner. Choosing Near Me also requires the browser's separate location permission.
Server access, security and error records are not cookies and are not deleted merely by clearing browser storage. Necessary operational records and the permitted processing of location or support information are explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Changing or withdrawing a choice
To reset a saved analytics choice, clear Massage Nexus cookies and site data through your browser's site settings, close or reload open Massage Nexus pages, and choose again when the banner returns. Select Reject Non-Essential, or leave analytics disabled when saving preferences. Clearing site data can sign you out and remove locally stored settings.
Rejecting analytics prevents optional tracking from starting on the newly loaded page. It does not retroactively erase information already collected, terminate a script in every previously open tab, or delete records held by a provider. Reload or close other open tabs after resetting your choice.
You can use browser controls to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage, including third-party storage. Blocking necessary storage can disrupt sign-in and other requested functions. Google's Analytics opt-out add-on offers an additional Google-specific control; it does not cover every technology used by the website.
For a request concerning information already held, contact us under the Privacy Policy. Browser permissions, cookie choices, contractual acceptance, privacy acknowledgment and consent to any future health intake are different actions; one does not automatically provide the others.
7. Duration and changes
A Massage Nexus advertisement or sponsored listing is distinct from third-party advertising-network tracking. Displaying a placement does not by itself grant permission for new optional storage or disclosure of private account information. Any enabled advertising technology must be described according to its actual vendor, purpose and choices; permission for analytics is not blanket permission for advertising tracking.
Cookie expiry, browser-local storage and retention of information on servers are separate matters. Provider cookie periods can change or be shortened by browsers. The Privacy Policy explains retention criteria and how to request access, correction or deletion.
We will update this notice when relevant technology or processing practices change. New advertising or other optional purposes require the appropriate disclosure and choices before use. The version and effective date shown on this page identify the published notice; publishing a notice does not automatically enable a tracking service.
